YOUR FIRST STEP INTO ADVERTISING

You know your business. Advertising is the part you haven’t learned yet.

You may already have happy customers and a product or service you’re proud of. Now you want more people to discover it, without depending entirely on referrals, regular posting or waiting for the next inquiry.

Facebook and Instagram ads seem like a possibility, but where do you begin? What should you promote, how much should you spend, and how will you know whether it’s working before you put more money into it?

Zero to Ads gives you a structured way to learn, with someone to help you apply it to your business. I’ll show you the setup and explain the decisions behind it, so you understand what you’re doing as you build your first campaign.

01 · YOUR PLAN

Choose a sensible first campaign

Learn what to promote, who it matters to and what you want someone to do after seeing the ad. An online purchase and an inquiry about a service need different plans.

02 · YOUR ADS

Make ads you can produce yourself

Understand what gives a customer a reason to pay attention, then develop your own copy and visuals with the creative workbook and resources you already have.

03 · YOUR DECISIONS

Know what the results mean

Connect advertising costs with customers, sales and margins, so you can decide whether to keep testing, change something or stop. You’ll learn to look beyond clicks and likes.

LEARN WITH ME DURING YOUR FIRST MONTH

You’ll have someone to ask as you put the lessons into practice.

The difficult part of learning from videos alone is working out how the advice applies to you. That’s why your course includes two private calls with me and personal email support while you get started.

YOUR FIRST PRIVATE CALL

We plan your starting point together

In 45 minutes, we’ll talk through what you sell, how people buy from you and what you want ads to help you do. We’ll choose a first campaign, agree a test budget and identify the lessons and actions that matter first.

AS YOU WORK THROUGH THE COURSE

Bring me the questions that hold you up

Email me when a lesson, an ad idea or a campaign decision leaves you unsure. I’ll help you think through the next step and give you feedback as you build. Beginner questions are welcome.

YOUR SECOND PRIVATE CALL

We review your work and decide what comes next

Near the end of the month, we’ll spend another 45 minutes reviewing what you’ve implemented and any results you have. If you haven’t launched yet, we’ll use the time to work through what’s in the way.

Email support includes up to two check-ins per week, with up to three focused questions in each. I answer personally within two business days. You create and manage the campaigns; I teach you, help you set priorities and review your work.

AN EXAMPLE FROM MY CLIENT WORK

More purchases, with a lower cost for each one.

This ecommerce account shows the kind of change I look for when reviewing advertising: how many purchases the ads bring in, what each purchase costs, and how much we spent to get there.

RECORDED PURCHASES8 → 34
COST PER PURCHASE€92.93 → €45.86
ADVERTISING SPEND€743.40 → €1,559.27

June 2024 compared with January 1–29, 2025. Spend also increased, so the purchase growth is not a like-for-like budget comparison. The original account reports in EUR; these historical figures have not been converted.

Lower purchase costs are useful, but profit also depends on your prices, margins and other costs. I’ll teach you to ask those questions about your own results.

This is an example from Victoria’s client work, not a course-student result or a forecast for your business.

INSIDE THE COURSE · 12 CHAPTERS

See how you’ll go from understanding ads to building your own.

The course starts with the basics and builds toward creating campaigns, reading results and making better decisions. You can learn at your own pace, with continuing access to revisit the lessons.

On our kickoff call, we’ll choose the lessons that matter first for your business. You won’t need to work through every business model or master scaling before taking your first step.

Victoria teaching the foundations of Facebook and Instagram advertising

CHAPTERS 1–2

Understand how Meta ads work

Start with the relationship between your business, your customer and the result you want. You’ll learn how Meta delivers ads and get your Business Manager ready, so the choices in Ads Manager begin to make sense.

Your starting point: a clear goal and an account you understand.

Victoria explaining the Meta Pixel and campaign setup

CHAPTERS 3–4

Prepare your tracking and campaigns

Learn what the Meta Pixel measures, how tracking connects to your website and how a campaign is organized. I explain what each part is for, so you can follow the setup with an understanding of what you’re building.

Your next step: prepare the structure for your first campaign.

Victoria teaching ad creative and Meta ad setup

CHAPTERS 5–7

Create your ads and know what to measure

Work through the numbers that matter, develop your copy and visuals, and learn the ad setup itself. Use the creative workbook to turn ideas about your own customers into ads you can produce.

Your next step: build your first ads and choose how you’ll judge them.

Victoria explaining advertising results for different business models

CHAPTERS 8–10

Choose the approach that fits your business

Explore the lessons for online shops, lead generation and app businesses. We’ll prioritize the path that matches how your customers buy, rather than asking you to apply every strategy at once.

Your next step: connect your campaign to a sale, an inquiry or an app action.

Victoria teaching Meta ads reporting, analysis, and optimization

CHAPTERS 11–12

Read your results and decide what comes next

Learn to read reports, test changes and understand when a campaign deserves more budget. These are lessons you can return to as you gather evidence; you don’t need to master scaling before launching your first ad.

Your next step: make considered decisions about what to keep, change or stop.

A BUDGET THAT MAKES SENSE FOR YOU

You can start small without committing to a large monthly ad spend.

In our first call, we’ll decide what you’re comfortable testing, what you want to learn and when to review it. If you’re considering $5–$10 a day, we can discuss whether that fits your business and the result you want.

A small test can take longer to produce useful evidence, especially when purchases or qualified inquiries are infrequent. I’ll help you understand what the numbers can tell you before you spend more.

Advertising spend is separate from the course fee. For perspective, $10 a day is $300 over 30 days. This is a planning example, not a required budget or a promise of sales.

MEET YOUR TEACHER

I’m Victoria Alenich, and I want you to understand what you’re paying for when you run an ad.

I’ve spent around ten years working in performance marketing. What I enjoy about teaching business owners is helping them connect advertising decisions to the business they already understand: their customers, their offer and the money they need to make.

That’s how I teach Zero to Ads. I’ll explain the reasoning, show you how to apply it and help you work through your questions. You don’t need to become a professional media buyer to start making these decisions for yourself.

A good starting point for this course

You have a product or service that people already buy and a way for new customers to purchase or inquire. You’re new to ads, you can make time to learn and implement, and you have a separate budget for testing.

Plan for roughly 3–5 hours a week during your first month. We’ll choose a manageable starting point and build from there.

If you’re already running campaigns

If you’re comfortable in Ads Manager and want focused help with an existing account, my Breakthrough Sessions may suit you better.

This course is for learning to run your own ads. Producing and managing all your advertising for you is a different service.

CHOOSING HOW TO RUN YOUR ADS

Hire someone to manage your ads, or learn to manage them yourself?

Both can be sensible choices. If you want someone to take on the execution, a freelancer or agency may fit. If you want to understand your advertising and can make time to work on it, Zero to Ads gives you a structured way to learn with personal guidance.

Delegate to a specialist

Hire a freelancer

A freelancer can manage the agreed parts of your advertising. You still provide the business context, approve the work and stay involved in decisions.

Fees and scope vary by provider. Advertising spend is additional.

A useful fit when you want hands-on execution and can budget for outside help.

Bring in a team

Hire an agency

An agency can offer advertising management alongside creative, tracking or other services, depending on the agreement. You coordinate with the team and review performance together.

Fees and scope vary by agency. Advertising spend is additional.

A useful fit when your business needs ongoing execution across several areas.

Build the skill in your business

Learn with Zero to Ads

You create and manage your campaigns, with the complete beginner course, two private calls with Victoria and 30 days of personal email support.

One payment of $597 USD. Advertising spend is additional.

A useful fit when you can make time to learn and want personal guidance as you start.
